Short answer: on published rules, Betty is the fastest documented route in this list, with Interac cash-outs in minutes, and Stake is the fastest in theory through crypto. Jackpot City and Spin Casino follow with a hold of about a day. Golden Tiger, Grand Mondial, Luxury, Quatro, Yukon Gold and Zodiac sit behind the Casino Rewards group's 48-hour hold.
Every casino claims fast withdrawals and few can document them, so the ten sites below follow one rule. They are sorted by the earliest arrival of money that the operator's own rules, or a published report, support for a Canadian player on the fastest route the site offers. Inside a tier the order is alphabetical, because the published figures overlap too much to rank honestly.
Everything was checked on 16 October 2026 against operator terms where we could read them, regulator information as reported by industry outlets, and published reviews. We did not make the withdrawals ourselves, and each card says whether a figure comes from the operator or from a third party. Every button on this page opens our current partner offer, which may not be the casino shown on the card, and we earn a commission if you sign up there. That never moves a casino between tiers; the site terms and affiliate disclosure spell out the arrangement.
Two names, and a large gap in how much evidence stands behind them. Betty documents its speed on its own pages and a third-party hands-on test points the same way. Stake's speed comes from crypto itself and from reviewer reports, with no timed test and no readable terms behind it.
Betty Casino
Tier 1 · Minutes to hours
Fastest route
Interac e-Transfer. The operator says over 90 percent of withdrawals are processed automatically and reach banks within minutes; the one hands-on test we found, of an Interac cash-out, cleared in about six minutes.
Hold before release
No fixed reversal window in the policy pages we read. The written policy says internal review aims to finish within five days, and a first withdrawal can trigger extra checks.
Which version
Two products: Betty.ca for Ontario (AGCO) and Betty.com for Canada outside Ontario and Alberta (Kahnawake licence).
Watch for
Visa withdrawals are reported to take up to about three business days, and the five-day policy ceiling is the figure to hold the operator to.
The best-documented fast route in the list, though minutes is the operator's claim plus one test, not a guarantee.
Stake Casino
Tier 1 · Minutes to hours
Fastest route
Crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, USDT and others). Reviewers describe minutes to a few hours, but we found no independent timed test.
Hold before release
Not confirmed. Stake's own terms could not be read for this check, so no hold, limit or fee is stated here.
Which version
Stake.com is offshore (Curaçao licence) and reported as unavailable in Ontario. Stake Canada (stake.ca) was reported registered in Alberta on 24 September 2026 and conditionally on 6 October; its planned 12 October launch is unconfirmed.
Watch for
Crypto only, so price movement between cash-out and conversion is yours to carry. Confirm Alberta eligibility and the live terms before depositing.
Fast in theory and the thinnest evidence of the ten. It sits in Tier 1 on its route, not on proof.
Both brands are reported to belong to the Super Group family. Reviewers describe a hold of about 24 hours, which the operator terms we could reach did not confirm. Add the method's own processing and the best case lands at roughly one to three days.
Jackpot City Casino
Tier 2 · About one to three days
Fastest route
Interac e-Transfer or an e-wallet. Reviewers report Interac at 24 to 48 hours after approval and e-wallets at up to about a day.
Hold before release
About 24 hours on the rest-of-Canada site, according to reviewers; we could not read the operator's terms to confirm it.
Which version
Ontario: Cadtree Limited under AGCO (reported). Elsewhere in Canada an offshore Kahnawake-licensed version.
Watch for
Review sites list open player complaints about payout delays, and sources disagree on minimum withdrawals.
A middle-of-the-road cash-out once the hold clears; the paperwork around it is where the reports diverge.
Spin Casino
Tier 2 · About one to three days
Fastest route
E-wallets and Interac. Reported ranges conflict: an Ontario comparison lists Instadebit as instant and Interac at one to three business days, while another review puts most methods at three to six banking days.
Hold before release
About 24 hours, during which you can cancel, then processing within one business day (reviewer reports).
Which version
Ontario: Cadtree under AGCO (reported). Rest of Canada: an offshore Kahnawake version. Reported live in Alberta's regulated market in early October 2026.
Watch for
Minimum withdrawal (C$20 or C$50) and weekly limit (C$4,000 or C$10,000) differ by source; the cashier shows the real figures.
Reasonable speed if you use an e-wallet, with the widest spread in published figures of the second tier.
This tier follows the Casino Rewards group's written rule, which we read in Grand Mondial's own terms and which reviewers report across the group. Ontario licences on these cards are trade-press reports, and whether the hold applies to Ontario versions is unconfirmed. The group runs Golden Tiger, Grand Mondial, Luxury, Yukon Gold and Zodiac, and Quatro is reported to follow it. Every withdrawal waits 48 hours, can be reversed until it is processed, and is released on the next business day. Two days of hold is the floor; with an e-wallet, three to four days is the best case and six is common, and cards or bank transfers push it further.
Golden Tiger Casino
Tier 3 · Two to four days or more
Fastest route
E-wallets such as Skrill, one to three working days after the hold. Its FAQ is reported to rule out crypto withdrawals.
Hold before release
48 hours, reversible until processed, then released the next business day (group rule).
Which version
Rest of Canada: Kahnawake version. Ontario: Apollo Entertainment under AGCO.
Watch for
A monthly cap of 16,000 is reported on top of the group's weekly limit. One affiliate page promises Interac within 24 hours, which the 48-hour rule contradicts.
A familiar brand with a slow cash-out. Fine for casual play, awkward if you want money back quickly.
Grand Mondial Casino
Tier 3 · Two to four days or more
Fastest route
CAD EFT or eCheck, two to three working days, or e-wallets, one to three, after the hold. Its FAQ lists Interac for deposits only.
Hold before release
48 hours, reversible, then the next business day; processing waits for completed verification (terms sections 14.2.9 and 6.4).
Which version
Fresh Horizons Limited (Tortola), Kahnawake licence 00972, per its own terms. Ontario: Apollo Entertainment under AGCO.
Watch for
Direct bank transfer takes six to ten working days after the hold and costs $50 ($100 above $3,000). Using a new method for the first time adds checks of up to five to seven working days.
The best-documented brand in the tier because its terms and FAQ are readable. Documented slow still beats undocumented fast, but it is slow.
Luxury Casino
Tier 3 · Two to four days or more
Fastest route
Reported options include Interac, MuchBetter and crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether), though third-party lists conflict. The earliest arrival is the 48-hour hold plus the next business day.
Hold before release
48 hours, reversible, then released the next business day (group rule).
Which version
Rest of Canada: Kahnawake version. Ontario: Apollo Entertainment under AGCO.
Watch for
The method list differs between sources, so open the cashier before counting on a specific route. Reported minimum withdrawal is 50, or 300 by bank transfer.
Pick it for the game library, not for the cash-out.
Quatro Casino
Tier 3 · Two to four days or more
Fastest route
Reported: Interac, MuchBetter, Visa and crypto under group-style rules. One tester saw a small Interac cash-out arrive in 26 hours, which the 48-hour rule does not predict.
Hold before release
48 hours, then the next business day, per third-party reviews; Quatro's own terms could not be read.
Which version
Rest of Canada only: reported as a Fresh Horizons site under the Kahnawake licence. Not available in Ontario.
Watch for
Group membership rests on third-party reviews, and Alberta access after 13 October is unknown. Check eligibility first.
Treat the group-style speed as likely, not proven.
Yukon Gold Casino
Tier 3 · Two to four days or more
Fastest route
The widest method list in the group, from e-wallets and cards to CAD EFT and bank transfer. E-wallets take one to three working days after the hold.
Hold before release
48 hours, reversible, then the next business day (group rule).
Which version
Rest of Canada: Kahnawake version. Ontario: Apollo Entertainment under AGCO.
Watch for
Guides promising 24-hour payouts here conflict with the written hold. Bank transfer is the slowest route at six to ten working days.
Plenty of method choice, none of it quick. Use an e-wallet and plan for most of a week.
Zodiac
Zodiac Casino
Tier 3 · Two to four days or more
Fastest route
E-wallets under group rules, one to three working days after the hold. One comparison lists Interac as deposit-only, so check the cashier before counting on it.
Hold before release
48 hours, then the next business day, assumed from the group's published terms; Zodiac's own cashier pages could not be read.
Which version
Casino Rewards member. Ontario: Apollo Entertainment under AGCO. Rest of Canada: Kahnawake version.
Watch for
Its cash-out terms here are inferred from the group, not read at the source.
Likely slow, and honestly rated as unproven.
Three kinds of evidence sit behind the tiers above. Operator terms and cashier pages come first, whenever we could read them. Regulator information, from AGCO and iGaming Ontario to the Alberta commission and the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, as reported by industry outlets, tells us who runs which version of a brand. Published reviews and hands-on tests fill the gaps, and we treat them as reports rather than facts.
The measure is the payout path: the pending hold, the identity checks, the method's own processing time and the calendar it all runs on. For each casino we look at the fastest route the site publishes and ask how soon money could arrive if nothing goes wrong. That gives a tier, not a score, because a single number would claim more precision than the sources can carry.
The tiers are defined by the best case on the fastest published route. Tier 1 covers minutes to a few hours, Tier 2 about one to three days, and Tier 3 starts at the two-day hold of the Casino Rewards group and stretches to four days or more once the next business day and the method's processing are added. A casino with a fast method and a long hold lands in the tier its hold implies, not the one its method suggests.
Placements can change. A casino moves up when its own terms or an independent test show a shorter path, and it moves down when a hold lengthens, a method is withdrawn or reviewers report consistent delays. When a brand's terms stay unreadable, it keeps the tier that its best-supported report implies and carries a note saying so. Nothing on this page is ranked by commission.
We did not open accounts, deposit or withdraw for this page. Where a casino's own terms were out of reach, as with Stake, Quatro and Zodiac, the card says so. Where a time is our arithmetic on a written rule, as with the Casino Rewards brands, it is labelled that way. The full evidence grades, the ordering rule and our correction practice are set out in how we sort payout speed.
A cash-out is not one wait but four, taken in order. A brand can offer a fast method and still make you wait on every other step. Take a Casino Rewards withdrawal requested on a Friday evening: the 48-hour hold runs until Sunday evening, the request is processed on Monday, and an e-wallet then needs one to three working days, so the money arrives between Tuesday and Thursday. Nothing went wrong in that example. It is simply the rules adding up.
Most casinos hold a withdrawal request for a set time before it is released. The stated reason is to let you change your mind, and the group behind Grand Mondial, Luxury and three other brands in this list is explicit about it: funds wait 48 hours and can be reversed in whole or in part until processing starts, using a Reverse Withdrawal button on the banking page. Reviewers report a shorter hold of about 24 hours at Jackpot City and Spin Casino, though we could not confirm either figure in the operators' own terms. Look for the hold in the sections called Withdrawals, Banking or Cashier; in the Grand Mondial terms it sits in section 14.2.9.
Betty is the outlier. Its policy pages describe an internal review that aims to finish within five days, with no fixed reversal window that we found, and the operator says most requests are cleared automatically. Before you deposit, search the terms for the words pending, reversible and processing. Those three words tell you more about speed than any banner does.
Verification is the delay players can shorten most. The Casino Rewards group may ask for a government photo ID, proof of residence dated within the last three months and proof that the payment method is yours, and its terms say a withdrawal cannot be processed until the checks are complete. Using a withdrawal method for the first time can trigger further checks of up to five to seven working days. Betty's policy likewise requires the registered name to match the ID and adds extra review for large or risk-flagged withdrawals.
None of this is unusual, and none of it needs to wait for your first win. Upload the documents when you register, make sure the name matches the payment method exactly, and the identity delay shrinks to the time it takes a human to open the file.
The checks that most often fail are mundane: a registered name that differs from the card or wallet, a proof of address older than three months, a photo with a cropped edge, or a payment account that is not in your own name. Each one sends the file back to the start of the queue, which is why a clean upload matters so much.
Once the casino releases the request, the payment rail takes over. Interac, e-wallets, cards, bank transfers and crypto all move at different speeds, and the gap between them is often larger than the gap between casinos. The withdrawal methods compared below set the published times side by side.
Two rules shape the route before speed does. The Grand Mondial FAQ says withdrawals are first credited back against recent deposits where that applies, with winnings above your deposits sent to your preferred payment method, and that some processors do not allow card refunds at all. The method you deposit with is often the method you get paid by, so choose it with the exit in mind.
Rules written in working days or business days skip weekends and statutory holidays. A hold that ends on Saturday is processed on Monday, and a three-working-day card payment started on a Thursday arrives the following Tuesday at the earliest. Some reviewers report weekend requests waiting until Monday at casinos that otherwise pay quickly, which is why the same site can look instant on a Tuesday and slow on a Saturday.
Banks add their own cut-offs on top. A transfer released late in the day may only be posted the next morning. When the other three delays are short, the calendar is what you are left with, so ask for the money early in the week.
The table shows the same Friday-evening request on four routes, using the published rules. It assumes no statutory holiday and no extra identity check.
| Route | Hold ends | Processed | Money arrives (best case) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Casino Rewards, e-wallet | Sunday evening | Monday | Tuesday to Thursday |
| Casino Rewards, card | Sunday evening | Monday | Thursday |
| Casino Rewards, bank transfer | Sunday evening | Monday | The Tuesday of the following week or later, up to ten working days |
| Betty, Interac | No fixed hold found | Automatically, if no review is triggered | Within minutes on the operator's claim; the written ceiling is five days |
Method times matter most once the hold and the identity checks are behind you. The table lists what the sources say about the time after release, which brands in this list appear to offer each method, and the catch that goes with it. Where the casino's own terms were readable the figure is a rule; otherwise it is marked as reported. The Casino Rewards figures are the group rule as published in Grand Mondial's terms.
| Method | Published time after release | Where it appears in this list | What to watch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Interac e-Transfer | Minutes at Betty (one Interac test, and the operator's general claim); 24 to 48 hours at Jackpot City (reported); one to three business days in an Ontario comparison for Spin | Betty, Jackpot City, Spin; reported for Luxury and Quatro; deposits only on the Grand Mondial FAQ | Not every brand pays out by Interac. The cashier decides, not the logo on the homepage. |
| E-wallets such as Skrill, Neteller, MuchBetter, Instadebit, iDebit and Payz | One to three working days in the Casino Rewards terms; up to about a day at Jackpot City (reported); Instadebit listed as instant in one Ontario table | Jackpot City, Spin and the Casino Rewards brands | Usually the quickest route that is not crypto, and often tied to the method you deposited with. |
| Visa and Mastercard | Three working days in the Casino Rewards terms; up to about three business days at Betty | Betty, Spin and the Casino Rewards brands | Some processors do not allow card refunds, so the casino may route you elsewhere. |
| CAD EFT or eCheck | Two to three working days in the Casino Rewards terms, Canada only | Casino Rewards brands | No fee on the Grand Mondial FAQ, but check how long your own bank takes to post it. |
| Direct bank transfer | Six to ten working days after the hold in the Casino Rewards terms | Casino Rewards brands; reported for Spin | Minimum $300, fee $50 ($100 above $3,000) at Grand Mondial. Rarely worth it. |
| Crypto | Minutes to a few hours (reported) | Stake; reported for Luxury and Quatro; not supported for withdrawals at Golden Tiger according to reports | Price movement, taxes on later gains and no Ontario access at Stake.com. |
Read the table by goal rather than by brand. If speed matters most and your province allows it, Interac at Betty or an e-wallet are the routes the sources support. If you want the lowest friction on a casino that holds withdrawals for two days, an e-wallet is the least bad option, and a bank transfer is the most expensive in both time and fees.
Amounts matter as much as methods. The Casino Rewards terms set a minimum of 50 for most methods and 300 for bank transfer, and they cap withdrawals at 4,000 a week for players whose winnings are far larger than their purchases. In practice a very large win can leave in weekly instalments of that size. Betty's policy adds extra checks above 10,000, so plan big cash-outs as a process, not a single request.
Crypto is the other route, besides Betty's Interac, that reviewers describe in minutes to a few hours, and Stake is where the reports are strongest. We found no independent timed test, and Stake's own terms were not readable for this check, so treat it as a description, not a promise.
The trade-offs are practical. Stake.com is offshore and reported as unavailable in Ontario. Your payout arrives as coins, and the price can move between the moment you cash out and the moment you convert to Canadian dollars. Gambling winnings are normally not taxable for recreational players in Canada, but gains or losses on coins you keep afterwards can carry their own tax treatment, so ask an adviser before you hold anything for long.
The table repeats the figures from the cards in one place, in the same order. A figure marked reported comes from a third party and not from the operator's terms, so treat those cells as softer than the rest.
| Casino | Tier | Hold before release | Fastest published route | Main caveat |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Betty | 1 | None found; five-day policy ceiling | Interac, minutes (one test; operator claim) | Two versions: Betty.ca for Ontario, Betty.com elsewhere |
| Stake | 1 | Not confirmed | Crypto, minutes to hours (reported) | Offshore, not in Ontario, terms unread |
| Jackpot City | 2 | About 24 hours (reported) | Interac 24 to 48 hours, e-wallets up to a day (reported) | Open complaints about delays on review sites |
| Spin Casino | 2 | About 24 hours, cancellable (reported) | E-wallets; sources range from instant to six banking days | Limits differ by source |
| Golden Tiger | 3 | 48 hours, reversible | E-wallets, one to three working days | No crypto withdrawals (reported) |
| Grand Mondial | 3 | 48 hours, reversible | CAD EFT two to three days, e-wallets one to three | Bank transfer six to ten days plus a fee |
| Luxury | 3 | 48 hours, reversible | Interac, MuchBetter or crypto (reported) | Method list differs by source |
| Quatro | 3 | 48 hours (reported) | Group-style e-wallets and Interac (reported) | Not in Ontario, terms unread |
| Yukon Gold | 3 | 48 hours, reversible | E-wallets, one to three working days | Bank transfer six to ten days |
| Zodiac | 3 | 48 hours (group rule assumed) | E-wallets, one to three working days | Own terms unread, Interac deposit-only (reported) |
Where the sources disagree, we kept the range instead of picking a winner. Spin Casino's methods run from instant to six banking days depending on the review. One affiliate page promises Golden Tiger Interac payouts within 24 hours, which the 48-hour rule contradicts. Jackpot City's minimum withdrawal appears at several different figures, and Luxury's method list changes from source to source. Spin's spread is the widest: its best case fits Tier 2 and its worst case would not, so it stays in Tier 2 on the best-case rule. Each gap is a reason to open the cashier before you deposit.
Many of these brands run two sites. One is licensed in Ontario, the other is an offshore version for players elsewhere, and the two can have different cashiers, limits and hold times. The terms we could read, those of the Casino Rewards group, describe the rest-of-Canada version under a Kahnawake licence. Ontario versions are reported to quote one to three working days for most methods, and we could not confirm whether the 48-hour hold applies there at all. Check which domain you are on before you trust any time in this guide.
The footer is the quickest test. An Ontario site names AGCO and iGaming Ontario and shows the 19+ notice, while an offshore site names Kahnawake or another regulator. The domain, the currencies on offer and the deposit methods usually differ as well, and the cashier shows the limits that actually apply to you.
In Ontario, AGCO regulates the market and iGaming Ontario contracts the operators, and the legal age is 19. Betty.ca runs under Betty Gaming CA Ltd. According to industry reports, Apollo Entertainment holds the AGCO licences for the Ontario versions of Zodiac, Yukon Gold, Luxury, Grand Mondial and Golden Tiger, and Cadtree Limited is reported to be the operator behind the Ontario sites of Jackpot City and Spin Casino. Quatro is reported to have no Ontario licence and Stake.com is reported as unavailable there.
Nothing in the cards should be read as describing the Ontario version unless the card says so. Where the rest-of-Canada terms are the only ones we could read, the Ontario cashier may be faster or slower. If you play in Ontario, ask support which licensed company runs the site you are on and read the withdrawal terms that company publishes for Ontario.
Alberta opened its regulated market on 13 July 2026, according to press and legal reports. Operators need AGLC registration and an operating agreement with the Alberta iGaming Corporation, and the extensions granted to sites still serving the grey market ended on 13 October. Reports say an unregistered site that takes Alberta bets after that date is operating illegally, and that the law targets operators, not players. The legal age in Alberta is 18.
The picture for our ten is uneven. The five Apollo brands are reported on the AGLC register until 13 July 2027, but we could not confirm that any of them is live. Spin Casino was reported live in early October, Jackpot City is registered through Cadtree with its live status unconfirmed, and Betty.com says it serves Canada outside Ontario and Alberta. Stake Canada received registration in September and October, and Quatro does not appear on the Apollo list. If you live in Alberta, check the commission's register before you deposit. Look for the operator's name on the register, then for the same name in the site footer, and treat a mismatch as a reason to stop.
Quebec's only provincially authorised online casino is Espacejeux, run by Loto-Québec, and the legal age there is 18. Offshore versions of the casinos in this guide remain reachable from Quebec and from provinces without a competitive market, but they are not licensed by the province. Manitoba also sets the age at 18, and every other province sets it at 19. Several provinces run their own sites, and none of the ten casinos here is one of them. A province's own site is a different product with its own payout rules, so do not apply the times in this guide to it.
A fast method does nothing for you while a bonus is still being played through. In the Casino Rewards terms we read at Grand Mondial, the first and second deposit bonuses carry a 200x play-through before the bonus balance converts to cash, and bonuses from the third deposit on carry 30x. A 100 bonus at 200x means 20,000 in bets before it is yours, and slots count for the full amount while table and live games count for 2 percent.
The bigger trap is what happens if you try to take your own money out first. The same terms list withdrawing deposited funds before the matching bonus has been redeemed as irregular play, which lets the casino hold back withdrawals or confiscate winnings. The terms also say that cashing out the cash part of a first or second deposit forfeits whatever bonus remains. A single bet worth a quarter or more of the bonus credited is treated the same way. They do not describe a way to decline the bonus, so ask support before you deposit if you would rather play without one.
Betty goes the other way. It advertises its welcome spins without wagering, according to the offer pages we read, which removes this particular delay, although the usual identity checks still apply. The numbers in welcome offers change often and differ between the Ontario and rest-of-Canada versions, so read the bonus terms on the live page, and do it before the first deposit.
Where we found a figure, the wagering looks like this: 200x then 30x at the Casino Rewards brands, 35x on the welcome deposits at Jackpot City according to reviewers, and none on Betty's spins. For the others we found no reliable number. To turn a requirement into time, divide the total by your usual stake: at 1 a spin, the 20,000 above is 20,000 spins.
For a player whose first goal is a quick payout, a smaller offer with light wagering, or none, usually beats a big match with a heavy one, because the hold and the method only start to count once the requirement is cleared. Before taking a big match, ask whether the extra spins are worth waiting for your own money, and whether the wagering leaves any room for a withdrawal you could have had in a day or two.
A cash-out passes through three separate events: the casino approves it, the payment is sent, and the money arrives. Marketing copy that says instant usually describes the first one. The test that matters is the last, and only an independent timed withdrawal, or a rule written into the terms, measures it. When a page quotes a single flat time without naming the method, the hold or the date, treat it as advertising.
It is worth asking who is making the claim. In this guide the only operator statement about minutes is Betty's, backed by one outside test. Every other fast figure is a reviewer report, and several affiliate pages promise 24-hour payouts at brands whose own written terms add two days of hold before anything is released.
Five questions sort a real claim from a slogan. Which method does the time apply to? Does it count from the end of the hold or from the request? Who measured it, and on what date? Does it describe the version of the site you will use? And what happens on the first withdrawal, when identity checks apply? A claim that answers all five is worth trusting; one that answers none is decoration.
Sweepstakes casinos such as Chumba do not take real-money bets. You buy virtual Gold Coins, which have no cash value, and receive free Sweeps Coins that can be redeemed for prizes. According to reports of the rules Chumba published in 2024, one Sweeps Coin was worth one US dollar, redemption started at 100, and the coins had to be played through once and verified before any prize was paid. That is a redemption, not a withdrawal, and it runs on its own schedule.
For Canadians the question is now closed. VGW, the company behind Chumba Casino, left Canada in 2025: Gold Coin purchases stopped on 28 August, play ended on 25 September and the last day to redeem prizes was 23 October. It called the exit a business decision, not a regulatory one. Pages that still describe Chumba as an instant payout option for Canadians are out of date, which is why it is not ranked here.
A withdrawal marked processed or approved has left the casino's queue, but it may still be on its way through a payment provider or your bank. Check the cashier status first, then the receiving account, including the junk folder if the payout comes by e-mail transfer. If the time in the casino's terms has passed and the money has not appeared, write to support with the request date, amount, method and any reference number.
Keep screenshots of the request and of the status page. If support cannot explain the delay, the licensing body named in the casino's footer, such as the Kahnawake Gaming Commission for offshore versions or AGCO for Ontario ones, is where a complaint goes next.
Most delays come from a handful of habits, and each has a fix. The seven steps below are the ones that matter in the order they come up.
1
Verify before you win
Upload your photo ID, a proof of address under three months old and proof that the payment method is yours when you register. The first cash-out should never be the first time someone looks at your documents.
2
Choose the exit when you choose the entrance
Deposit with a method that the cashier also lists for withdrawals. Interac is the classic trap: some brands accept it for deposits only.
3
Read the floor before the ceiling
Minimums decide whether a small win can leave at all. The Casino Rewards group sets 50 for most methods and 300 for bank transfer, so a 30 win stays put.
4
Know your bonus before you play it
If a bonus is attached, find its play-through and its withdrawal rules first. Taking deposited money out early can cost you the winnings.
5
Ask early in the week
A request on Friday evening meets the hold, the weekend and the business-day rule at once. Tuesday morning avoids most of that.
6
Leave the request alone
Reversing a pending withdrawal puts the money back in your balance, and a new request starts the hold again. If you reverse, do it on purpose, not by accident.
7
Keep a paper trail
Screenshot the request and its reference number. If the stated time passes, contact support with those details instead of opening a second request.
If a request is already late, a short message works better than a long one: the date and time you asked, the amount, the method, the reference shown in the cashier and the time the terms promise. Support can match that to a ticket in a minute, which a general complaint rarely allows.
The minimum age to gamble online is 19 in most provinces, including Ontario, and 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. Casinos check it at registration and during verification, so a mismatch between your age, your documents and your account name is itself a cause of delay.
Tax is simpler than most players expect. The Canada Revenue Agency generally does not treat gambling, even regular play, as a business, so recreational winnings are normally not taxable. Exceptions are rare, such as gambling as a business or interest earned on money you keep, and crypto payouts can add their own capital gains questions, so speak to an adviser if that applies to you.
Fast access to winnings is also fast access to losses. Use the deposit, loss and time limits that most licensed sites offer, set them before you play, and use self-exclusion if the limits are not enough; Alberta operators are reportedly required to join a central self-exclusion system. If gambling is causing harm, ConnexOntario offers free, confidential help to people in Ontario around the clock on 1-866-531-2600 or by text to 247247, and other provinces publish their own helplines.
One design point is worth knowing: a withdrawal you can reverse for 48 hours is a withdrawal you can talk yourself out of at midnight, so if that happens to you, set a deposit limit and consider a cooling-off break rather than reversing again. Three habits deserve attention when payouts are quick: topping up again within minutes of a withdrawal, reversing a request to keep playing, and judging a session by the cash-out instead of the budget. If one sounds familiar, take a break and use the casino's limits or the helpline.
Our page on responsible gambling tools and helplines covers the options in more detail.
Among the ten here, Betty has the best-documented fast route: its operator says most withdrawals are processed automatically and reach banks within minutes, and a hands-on test of an Interac cash-out cleared in about six minutes. Stake is described as faster still through crypto, but we found no timed test and could not read its terms. Check which Betty site serves your province, because Betty.ca for Ontario and Betty.com for the rest of Canada run under different licences.
Instant usually means the casino approves the request without a manual review. Fast describes how soon the money actually arrives. A casino can approve instantly and still take days if the payment method, the hold or the weekend adds delay, so look at the arrival time and the method, not the label. The three events to separate are approval, sending and arrival.
Golden Tiger, Grand Mondial, Luxury, Yukon Gold and Zodiac follow the group's rule: a 48-hour reversible hold, release on the next business day, then one to three working days for e-wallets, three for cards and six to ten for bank transfer. That makes three to four days the best case and about six common. Quatro is reported to work the same way, and Zodiac's own cashier terms could not be read, so its time is inferred from the group.
It is the route reviewers describe as fastest, in minutes to a few hours, mostly at Stake; Betty's Interac claim sits in the same range. The catches are that Stake.com is reported as unavailable in Ontario, that you carry price movement until you convert the coins, and that later gains or losses on coins you keep may be taxed separately.
Expect to. Betty's policy and the Casino Rewards terms both require identity checks before a withdrawal, and for the other casinos you should assume the same until their terms say otherwise. The Casino Rewards terms ask for a government ID, proof of address under three months old and proof that the payment method is yours, and they say withdrawals cannot be processed until verification is finished. Doing it at registration removes the longest avoidable delay, and using a withdrawal method for the first time can still trigger further checks of up to five to seven working days.
Recreational winnings are normally not taxable, because the CRA generally does not treat gambling as a business. Exceptions are rare and include gambling as a business and interest earned on winnings you keep. Crypto payouts can raise separate tax questions, so ask an adviser if you hold coins after cashing out.
It depends on the brand and the version. Ontario has licensed versions of Betty, Jackpot City, Spin Casino and the Apollo brands, but not of Quatro, and Stake.com is reported as unavailable there. Alberta's regulated market reportedly opened on 13 July 2026 and the grey-market extensions ended on 13 October, so check the commission's register before you deposit.
The usual causes, in order, are the pending hold, an identity check you had not completed, a first-time withdrawal method, a weekend or holiday, and unmet bonus conditions. Open the cashier status, read the terms for the method you chose and contact support once the stated time has passed, with the request date, amount and reference number to hand.
